Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and seasoned Commercial Lines Account Manager to oversee a varied portfolio of commercial clients, providing exceptional service and executing effective risk management strategies. Your responsibilities will include policy evaluation, renewal processes, and the creation of proposals, certificates, and endorsements. You will collaborate closely with our sales team to ensure a seamless experience for our clients throughout the policy lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and enhance a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance requirements are met and exceeded.
2. Conduct thorough policy evaluations to confirm clients' coverage is adequate and competitive.
3. Oversee the policy renewal process, maintaining clear communication with clients for a smooth transition.
4. Develop and present proposals, certificates, and endorsements to clients and stakeholders.
5. Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
6. Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and strategies.
7. Implement effective risk management strategies to safeguard both the organization and the client.
8. Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and products to provide knowledgeable advice to clients.
9. Manage casualty and property insurance matters with expertise and diligence.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance, specifically in account management, customer service, risk management, policy evaluation, and policy renewal.
2. Proven success in managing renewals, proposals, certificates, endorsements, casualty, and property insurance.
3. Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships with clients.
4. Strong analytical abilities, with the capacity to assess risk and make informed decisions.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly articulating complex insurance concepts to clients.
6. Proficiency in utilizing insurance software and digital tools.
7. A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
8. An active Property and Casualty license.
9. A comprehensive understanding of the commercial insurance market and regulatory landscape.
