Job Summary:

Gable Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems for industrial applications, including PLC programming and hardware design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and debug control systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical diagrams and system documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in control systems technology.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or Computer Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the field or related area.
  • Advanced proficiency in PLC programming languages and control device networks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on mechanical and electrical capabilities.
  • Experience with material handling and automation systems.
  • Understanding of VFDs, Servos, sensors, and Vision Systems.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include sitting for prolonged periods, repetitive typing/data entry, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ideal candidate will be able to meet these physical demands and work in a fast-paced environment.
