Position Overview


The Logistics Support Specialist plays a crucial role in the operational workflow by meticulously recording all incoming purchase orders and verifying the accuracy of received documentation.

This position aids in inventory management to guarantee that all retail locations are sufficiently stocked for customer needs and monitors incoming and outgoing products for any signs of defects or damage.

The Specialist will liaise with suppliers for packing lists and freight documentation as required, while also maintaining an organized filing system for completed receiving records.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize distribution computer systems to effectively manage merchandise flow.
  • Operate both motorized and non-motorized equipment to unload trailers, transport, select, stock, and load heavy or large items as necessary to support the Receiving team.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Travel Requirements:
This position does not necessitate regular travel.

What We Seek:


Candidates must be prepared to adhere to a fixed schedule that may be adjusted by management based on operational needs.

Availability for morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend shifts is essential, along with the potential for overtime as required by the facility.

Work will be conducted in a distribution or warehouse setting, which entails physical and environmental conditions typical of such environments.


Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds; capability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Qualifications for Success:
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proven history of reliable attendance.
  • Basic proficiency in math and reading comprehension.
  • Fundamental computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • If currently employed, no written warnings within the last six months or final warnings within the last twelve months.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in business, supply chain management, transportation, or a related field.
  • Experience in a customer service capacity.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting processes to resolve issues.
  • Background in distribution center operations.
  • Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access, or data management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, demonstrating strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Previous experience operating power equipment (e.g., Reach truck or RC).
  • Bilingual, military, and veteran candidates are encouraged to apply.
