Job Summary

Concord Hospital, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Resource Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering patient care, providing education and training to clinical staff, and serving as a resource to both clinical and administrative staff.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Educational Programs: Develop and implement educational programs for all clinical staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop Clinical Protocols: Create and implement clinical protocols and workflows that align with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Assess Patient Needs: Perform physical and psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Triage Patient Calls: Respond to patient phone calls, providing timely and compassionate support.
  • Document Patient Care: Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
  • Provide Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on health-related topics, promoting health literacy and self-care.
  • Administer Medications: Safely administer prescribed medications, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Complete Competencies: Complete practice and unit-specific clinical skill competencies, ensuring proficiency in all areas of patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Two years of formal training or education beyond the high school level (e.g., Associate's Degree).
  • Certification and Licensure: Registered Nurse Licensure through the State of New Hampshire Board of Nursing and Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year as a Registered Nurse in a medical or acute-care setting.
