Role Summary

The Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care through thorough assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in alignment with established protocols and standards under the guidance of nursing leadership. This role emphasizes maintaining a secure work environment and executing all job functions safely while ensuring clinical and professional proficiency relevant to the patient demographic served.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to walk, stand, sit, lift, reach, stoop, bend, push, and pull. Candidates must be capable of lifting and supporting up to 35 pounds, including patients and medical equipment. Proficiency in English communication is essential. Candidates should possess intact sensory functions and demonstrate critical thinking and concentration abilities. The ability to respond promptly to changes in patient conditions is necessary. Physical abilities testing may be required.

Qualifications
Applicants must be graduates of an accredited nursing program. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Current Basic Life Support certification is required. A valid RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is mandatory.
