CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a seamless onboarding experience for new infusion patients to CVS Specialty and Coram
  • Interact with patients, physicians, caregivers, and internal departments to answer questions, solve problems, and provide education
  • Maintain a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and processing of new referrals
  • Provide customer education and routine assessment and problem identification
  • Balance compassion and kindness with professionalism and customer service
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of experience in customer service
  • Minimum two years of experience in healthcare
  • Minimum one year of experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Insurance terminology and medical benefit knowledge
  • Experience working in fast-paced queues and with leaders not on site
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and call center experience
  • Team-player who can also work independently and has excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Insurance terminology and medical benefit knowledge
  • Typing skills of 40-50 wpm
  • Multi-tasking and using multiple screens
  • Call center experience and basic math skills
