CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a seamless onboarding experience for new infusion patients to CVS Specialty and Coram
- Interact with patients, physicians, caregivers, and internal departments to answer questions, solve problems, and provide education
- Maintain a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and processing of new referrals
- Provide customer education and routine assessment and problem identification
- Balance compassion and kindness with professionalism and customer service
- Minimum two years of experience in customer service
- Minimum two years of experience in healthcare
- Minimum one year of experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Insurance terminology and medical benefit knowledge
- Experience working in fast-paced queues and with leaders not on site
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and call center experience
- Team-player who can also work independently and has excellent communication skills
