This customer-facing position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as you'll interact with patients, physicians, caregivers, and internal departments to answer questions, solve problems, and provide education.

The primary function of this role is to provide a seamless onboarding experience for new infusion patients to CVS Specialty and Coram, requiring a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and processing of new referrals.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll have the opportunity to challenge your healthcare training or current administration knowledge and customer service skills to make a difference in a patient's life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care and service
  • Interact with patients, physicians, caregivers, and internal departments
  • Answer questions, solve problems, and provide education
  • Process new referrals and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years experience in customer service and/or healthcare environment
  • Minimum two years healthcare insurance coverage/benefit experience
  • Minimum one year experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience working with healthcare insurance and medical terminology
  • Preferred Certified Pharmacy Technician

Education:

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required

Pay Range:

The typical pay range for this role is: $28.45

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
