Job Summary

SEH America is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and servicing duties to ensure equipment is running efficiently.
  • Gather materials, parts, tools, and supplies as needed for projects.
  • Practice safe use of power and hand tools, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, and report any safety hazards or incidents.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • General mechanical aptitude and ability to follow safety procedures.
  • Able to read, understand, and follow written instructions, policies, and procedures.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some mechanical or construction background or training preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Must be able to read and comprehend instructions and safety procedures. Will occasionally work in a clean room environment wearing clean room suite, hood, booties, safety glasses, and gloves. May require the use of hands to finger, grasp, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls. Kneeling, bending, and crouching positions, as well as the lifting of parts and use of hand tools in such positions, may be required. Occasionally lifts up to 25 lbs. Hazardous chemicals or vapors may be present in the work area depending on assignment. Exposure to occasionally loud noise levels. A high degree of safety consciousness is required for all positions at SEH America.
