Regional Anesthesiologist with Research Expertise

We are seeking a highly qualified Regional Anesthesiologist to join our team at the University of Pennsylvania. As a member of our Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals and contribute to the advancement of regional anesthesiology.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical anesthesia services, including ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia blocks, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
- Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows in the operating rooms and wards of HUP and PPMC.
- Participate in lectures, small groups, workshops, and simulation sessions to educate and train healthcare professionals.
- Conduct research and publish peer-reviewed publications on regional anesthesiology and related topics.
- Secure grants to support research initiatives, particularly on the tenure track.
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree or equivalent.
- ABA certification in anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system.
- Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license.
- Completion of fellowship training in regional anesthesiology and acute pain medicine or chronic pain medicine.
