Anesthesiologist with Research Expertise

The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly qualified candidate for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track.
Responsibilities- Teaching responsibilities may include instruction of medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through the operating rooms and wards of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC).
- Clinical responsibilities may include provision of clinical anesthesia at HUP and PPMC, with opportunities in general and/or cardiovascular anesthesia.
- Research or scholarship responsibilities may include publishing peer-reviewed publications, presenting work at scientific meetings, and securing grants.
- Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- ABA certification in anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system, along with ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license.
