Job Summary:The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track.
Responsibilities:- Teaching responsibilities may include the instruction and/or supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through the operating rooms and wards of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC).
- Clinical responsibilities may include the provision of clinical anesthesia and ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia blocks.
- Research or scholarship responsibilities may include publishing peer-reviewed publications and presenting your work at scientific meetings and other venues.
- Expertise is required in the specific area of regional anesthesiology.
- Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- ABA certification in anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system along with ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license are required.
