Anesthesiologist with Research Expertise

We are seeking a highly qualified Anesthesiologist to join our team at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care, with a focus on research and teaching.
Responsibilities- Teaching responsibilities may include instructing medical students, residents, and fellows in the operating rooms and wards of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
- Clinical responsibilities may include providing clinical anesthesia at HUP and PPMC, with opportunities in general and/or cardiovascular anesthesia.
- Research responsibilities may include publishing peer-reviewed publications, presenting research at scientific meetings, and securing grants.
- Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- ABA certification in anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system is required, along with the ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license.
