Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate medication clinic activities
  • Prepare for minimal to frequent schedule changes and travel to neighboring clinics for nursing coverage and training
  • Review medication education sheets with clients
  • Function as a case manager for consumers needing medication refills
  • Complete necessary documentation regarding medication clinic and psychiatric consultation for consumer records
  • Administer IM medication, dispense sample medications, maintain accurate logs on all medications received and dispensed
  • Work to help complete prior authorizations
  • Maintain a list of injections, coordinate ordering and delivery, verify orders are current, and discuss any side effects
  • Take vital signs and coordinate prediabetes screening process
  • Broad knowledge and experience with computers
