Key Responsibilities:

As a vital member of the Human Resources team, you will provide comprehensive support to various HR functions. This role requires frequent interaction with leaders and team members, ensuring a personal touch in our employment processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with all departments to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Assisting in the organization and execution of team events.
  • Coordinating recognition programs for team members.
  • Facilitating internal communications.
  • Managing service award programs and events.
  • Supporting initiatives related to animal awareness.
  • Maintaining an event and communication calendar.
  • Assisting with trade agreements and the intake process.
  • Keeping track of recognition metrics.
  • Contributing to programs that enhance team morale and engagement.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and legal standards.
  • Performing data entry, filing, reporting, and other administrative tasks.
  • Supporting additional duties as required.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Understanding of human resources functions, particularly within the employment cycle.
  • Willingness to learn about relevant employment laws.
  • Experience in a dynamic Human Resources environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong skills in computer usage, presentations, and communication.
  • Comfortable working primarily indoors.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to manage change and respond to urgent situations with sound judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with computer screens and office equipment.
  • Preferred educational background includes an Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
Additional Considerations:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources is preferred.
  • Experience in the theme park or hospitality sector is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, growing organization is beneficial.
