Position Summary

The Product Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for the labeling, packaging, and shipping of products within a large-scale medical cannabis facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold quality standards by creating labels, calculating cannabinoid content, and maintaining printers and associated programs.
  • Examine strain names, types, variables, and overall label quality.
  • Maintain daily inventories of all labels created, reprinted, used, wasted, and rejected.
  • Restock inventory, including printheads, ink, and labels.
  • Complete daily print jobs promptly while ensuring high-quality standards for all labels.
  • Document approved labels and maintain daily logs summarizing reworks.
  • Ensure printer equipment operates efficiently by adhering to operating instructions and requesting repairs as needed.
  • Accurately and efficiently package various medical marijuana derivatives into appropriate containers.
  • Label containers with the correct information.
  • Package products in totes for distribution.
  • Inspect products to confirm all labels are present.
  • Organize Finished Goods racks.
  • Prepare orders for the Packaging department.
  • Move work orders to designated storage locations.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to thrive in a production environment and meet established goals.
  • Strong focus and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and shipping operations, typically acquired through 1-2 years of experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend procedures and follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Proficiency in operating manufacturing machinery.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
Additional Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years in specific states).
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a height of at least 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Must be able to work seated or standing for extended periods, maintain balance while climbing ladders, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to handle organic materials daily and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must have visual acuity to perform tasks such as reading and inspecting small parts.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally at normal conversation levels.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, is offered with this position. This role typically requires an average of 40 hours per week and may include after-hours availability for emergencies.
