Staff Accountant

At Cathexis, we are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, as well as a minimum of 2 years of Gov/Con experience and a strong understanding of GAAP and FAR.
Responsibilities will include preparing invoicing for cost plus, fixed price, and T&M invoices, maintaining communication with financial analysts, project managers, and contract representatives, and processing, verifying, and reconciling vendor invoices. You will also be responsible for reviewing and processing employee expense reports, collecting, verifying, and processing employee timesheets, and participating in the month-end closing process.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $85,000 - $110,000, as well as a range of benefits, including performance bonuses, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, life insurance, paid time off, and parental leave.
