Position Overview

Peraton is seeking a Cyber Systems Architect to enhance our support for ARCYBER. This role is pivotal in developing, maintaining, and improving Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) to ensure effective incident response and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advance and refine the Enterprise Architecture Practice.
  • Deliver a comprehensive overview of all networks, cloud environments, systems, security measures, transport protocols, and applications pertinent to the DODIN-A mission.
  • Consult on the lifecycle replacement of CDS network and systems components.
  • Oversee engineering, quality assurance, and integration efforts within the CDS operational domain.
Qualifications

Required:
  • 8+ years of experience with a BS/BA; 6+ years with an MS/MA; or 3+ years with a Ph.D. Consideration will be given to candidates with a high school diploma and 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient understanding of system integration and cloud-based applications.
  • Ability to create network architecture topology diagrams.
  • Familiarity with Army DODIN-A operations and knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPNs, Load Balancers, and Project Manager (PM) Tactical Network.
  • Deep comprehension of enterprise architecture methodologies to align with strategic IT frameworks supporting business goals.
  • Experience in designing and managing systems, including operating systems, installations, patches, configurations, and interfacing with mission-partner organizations.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing an enterprise domain.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory/LDAP, DNS, DHCP, and logging systems.
  • Experience in configuring network infrastructure, Linux, and Windows servers.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP network protocols.
  • Experience in managing firewall and router access control lists.
  • Solid knowledge of VMWare virtualization setups.
  • Current awareness of cybersecurity technologies and trends.
  • Expertise in Army cyber technologies, including relevant systems and tools.
  • Knowledge in diverse areas such as threat analysis, cyber assessments, forensic and malware analysis, virtualization, and information security policies.
  • Willingness to undertake domestic TDYs to government sites, with potential OCONUS travel.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • DoD Clearance TS SCI with Polygraph and the ability to obtain MEAD clearance.
Desired:
  • CCNP, CASP+, or other IAT Level II certifications.
