About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting ARCYBER in mitigating critical vulnerabilities and developing solutions to sensor network and systems to feed data to Gabriel Nimbus (GN) for defensive measures and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trend Analysis and Reporting: Create and develop trend analysis reports to track trends weekly/monthly/quarterly in tactical/operational/strategic reporting, inspection/continuous monitoring results, operational activities, and threats, capabilities, and policies.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Perform data collection and analysis to support the development of trend analysis reports and to coalesce a broader combined operational picture of DODIN risk posture, threats, and mitigation strategies.
  • Study and Research: Conduct and produce studies on DODIN terrain types (IT, IAPs, cloud, CDS, encryption, mission partner environment), capabilities (security devices, tools), data management, and other issues pertaining to the protection and resilience of the DODIN.
  • Process Development: Define the processes for identifying problems and multiple solutions, calculating return on investment, scoring/managing risk, prioritizing recommendations, gaining approval, implementing on the DODIN; and processes for internal/external coordination and synchronization.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Develop SOPs detailing the organizational battle rhythm, resources, and partnerships for analysis.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA. Will consider HS+12 years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Cybersecurity Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of experience in the design, development, and testing of communication architectures that are deployed.
  • Data Analysis and Security: Familiarity with data from systems such as Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS), Secure MADSS, Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRSS), Continuous Monitoring and Risk Scoring (CMRS), Big Data Platform (BDP), DoD Information Technology Repository (DITPR), and other authoritative data sources.
  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Current knowledge of cyber security technology capabilities and trends.
  • Army Cyber Technologies: Expertise in Army cyber technologies including systems and tools used.
  • Threat Analysis and Cyber Assessments: Familiarity in a diverse range of areas including threat analysis, cyber assessments, forensic and malware analysis, virtualization, and information security policy and process.
  • Web Vulnerabilities: Familiarity with common web vulnerabilities (i.e., XSS, XXE, SQL injection, deserialization attacks, path traversal attacks, remote execution flaws, and authentication flaws).
  • Data Management: Ability to manage, organize, analyze, and present substantial amounts of data.
  • System Design and Configuration: Experience and ability to design and understand systems such as, operating systems, install, patch, configure, and interface with other mission-partner organizations.
  • Enterprise Domain: Experience designing and building out of an enterprise domain.
  • Network Infrastructure: Experience configuring network infrastructure, Linux servers, and Windows servers.
  • Network Protocols: Experience and understanding of TCP/IP network protocols.
  • Firewall and Router Access Control Lists: Experience managing firewall and router access control lists.
  • VMWare Virtualization: Strong understanding of VMWare virtualization builds.
  • Domestic and OCONUS Travel: Willingness and ability to do domestic TDY's to Government sites, OCONUS travel is expected in some cases.
  • US Citizenship and Security Clearance: US Citizenship required, DoD TS SCI w/Poly with the ability to obtain MEAD clearance.
