Michaels is seeking a Part Time Guest Experience Specialist to deliver a customer-centric shopping experience by managing and executing effective front-end operations and expectations. The ideal candidate will maintain store recovery standards, deliver friendly customer service, and assist the Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs
  • Assist with cash reconciliation and bank deposits
  • Assist with inventory processes, including Return to Vendor (RTV) and Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) activities as needed
  • Train, observe, and coach the customer experience team to achieve results
  • Participate in the performance management process and support Talent Development of the team
  • Manage and execute the shrink and safety programs
  • Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
Requirements

The successful candidate will have retail management experience and be able to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment. The role requires working nights, weekends, and early mornings, and may involve outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks.
