About the Role

The Food Service Team Leader is a key member of the Target team, responsible for leading a team of hourly team members to deliver exceptional guest service and drive sales growth in the Food and Beverage department. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Recruit, train, and develop a team of hourly team members to achieve business objectives and provide exceptional guest service.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Analyze sales data and develop strategies to drive sales growth in the Food and Beverage department.
  • Manage Inventory and Operations: Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of merchandise, as well as maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
  • Provide Exceptional Guest Service: Ensure that all guests receive a seamless and personalized shopping experience, including responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other teams, including store operations, logistics, and marketing, to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Previous Retail Experience: Preferred, but not required.
  • Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as communicate effectively with guests and other team members.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to drive sales growth, as well as resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as adapt to changing business needs.
