Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Support Engineer to join our team at UBE Machinery. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance to customers, troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial machinery, and ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex industrial machinery, including injection molding, aluminum extrusion, and die casting machines
  • Conduct on-site training and technical assistance to customers and service technicians
  • Supervise the installation of new machines and parts, and complete final acceptance testing
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and technical reports
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, electrical principles, and mechanical concepts
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
  • Program Logic Control (PLC) experience
  • Mechanical background
  • Previous customer service experience
Work Environment

This position requires frequent travel to customer sites, including within the United States and Canada. The employee must be able to work in a professional office environment and a manufacturing environment, and be able to lift loads weighing 50 pounds or more.
