About the Role
As an Academic Subject Matter Expert at KIPP Texas Public Schools, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional instruction and assessing student growth. You will be committed to constant learning and provide academic support to your school and team.

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, demonstrated knowledge of core subject area assigned, and a Texas Teacher Certificate appropriate for level and/or subject area of assignment, if applicable.

The estimated salary for this role is $72,500 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision options, as well as life insurance and disability plans. Additionally, we offer up to $15,000 in additional annual compensation through our Teacher Career Pathway (TCP) program, and up to $32,000 a year through our TEA Teacher Incentive Allotment approval.

Some of the key responsibilities include:
  • Developing year-long Texas State standards-based unit plans and lesson plans that meet all students' learning needs.
  • Using assessment data to modify short and long-term plans in order to promote all students' academic performance.
  • Embracing and incorporating feedback in the spirit of constant improvement.
