Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Corrosion Expert to join our team at DBSI Services, Inc. as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in Oil and Gas industry.

About the Role

The Corrosion Expert will be responsible for performing asset criticality assessments to identify assets that require review for Risk-Based Inspection (RBI). Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing corrosion loop development and inspection drawing preparation with CMLs and TMLs.
  • Providing expert-level knowledge on damage mechanisms and their applicability to assets/components considering metallurgy and process.
  • Converting Corrosion Control Documents based on API RP 970.
  • Working with different Integrity data management systems like PCMS, Meridium, Capstone, Visions, and Ultra PIPE.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering degree or a high school diploma/GED in Mechanical/Metallurgy.
  • A minimum of 12-15 years of refinery experience as a Corrosion Engineer employed by an owner-operator company as a Corrosion/Materials engineer.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $190,000 per year. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
