Key Responsibilities

As a Payload Safety Panel Engineer at Avenue Technologies Defunct, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of spaceflight payloads by performing technical reviews, interacting with subject matter experts, and participating in engineering working group meetings. You will act as the Engineering representative to the ISS Payload Safety Review Panel (PSRP) and perform technical reviews of payload systems and devices.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of flight hardware experience, a bachelor's degree in engineering, and a related master's degree. Your expertise in systems safety disciplines, thermal analysis, stress analysis, and material science will enable you to design and evaluate electrical and mechanical systems, including avionics, electrical power distribution, and control systems. You will also be able to identify and assess hazardous conditions, implement controls, and verify mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and devices.

We offer a competitive salary of $140,000 - $200,000 per year, based on experience, and a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
