Job Title: Climate Change Mitigation Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Climate Change Mitigation Expert to join our team at Context Labs. In this role, you will work closely with our software development team and customers to identify and prioritize opportunities for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • GHG Emissions Analysis: Review Piping & Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), EPA GHG Emissions Data, and other relevant facility emission documentation to identify potential sources of greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Customer Interface: Actively interface between our customers and software development team to ensure all required data is ingested into our software platform.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert to support data analytics teams to perform advanced quantitative analysis of GHG emissions and identify mitigation opportunities.
  • Project Execution: Create and manage project execution plans to ensure deliverables are executed to the highest quality and on-time.
  • Customer Service: Provide highly responsive customer service and maintain a high level of member satisfaction, proactively identifying and resolving issues before, during, and after implementation.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively across a large matrix team to ensure sales, engineering, and leadership are suitably coordinated and informed.

Your Ideal Background:

  • 5+ years of oil & gas industry operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (process/process safety, facilities/operations, mechanical, environmental, or similar related field).
  • Significant experience in oil & gas operating facilities with ability to thoroughly understand process flow and fluid property fundamentals.
  • Solid understanding of Piping & Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), Cause & Effects Charts (C&E), Electrical One-Lines, Facility Layout Drawings, and similar engineered facility drawings.
