Laboratory Technical Specialist

Join the University of Kentucky's Laboratory Services department as a Laboratory Technical Specialist/UKHC. This role is responsible for the technical management of a subspecialty within a laboratory section in a fast-paced academic medical center.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage test performance and quality control
- Ensure CAP/other regulatory compliance
- Assist in employee evaluations and competency
- Provide technical support for laboratory instrumentation and technology
- BS in Biology and Chemistry preferred
- Histocompatibility experience preferred
- 3 years of related experience
This lab operates 24 hours, 5 days a week. 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift may be available, rotating weekend on-call will be required.
