Job Title: Radar-Image Processing Engineer-Technical Staff

We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team as a Radar and Image Signal Processing Engineer at MIT Lincoln Laboratory.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and assess state-of-the-art algorithms for radar and image signal processing.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to extract meaningful insights and enhance system performance.
  • Participate in the design, simulation, and testing of signal processing algorithms.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in radar and image processing technologies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize signal processing techniques for real-time applications.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and execute experiments that include both ground-based and airborne sensors.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including test plans, interface control documents, reports, and presentations.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on signal and/or image processing or computer vision.
  • Strong foundation in digital signal processing theory and algorithms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C/C++.
  • Solid understanding of statistical signal processing techniques.
  • Experience with radar systems, remote sensing, or image processing applications, their components, and associated challenges is highly desirable but not required.
