Beverage Safety Expertise Sought
We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Alcohol Compliance Teammate at Levy, a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of local, state, federal, and province laws and internal Levy policies, as well as excellent communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Responsible Beverage Service: Monitor and ensure that all staff members are following the company's responsible beverage service policies and procedures.
- Signage and Promotions: Ensure that all signs related to responsible beverage service are displayed prominently throughout the venue.
- Monitoring Hours and Cut-Off Times: Verify that employees adhere to designated hours of operation and cut-off times to prevent over-service.
- ID Verification: Conduct thorough ID verification processes to prevent underage sales and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Pass-Off Detection: Identify and address instances where staff members pass off drinks to customers who are either visibly intoxicated or underage.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Maintain a valid Washington State MAST Class 12 permit
- Ability to stand, walk, and navigate crowded spaces for extended periods
- Capable of reaching, lifting, bending, and performing physically demanding tasks throughout an 8-hour shift
- Accurate reading and understanding of accepted identification documents
- Capacity to distinguish between authentic and counterfeit IDs
- Familiarity with relevant local, state, and federal regulations
Competitive Compensation Package:
We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22.60 to $24.60, as well as additional benefits such as Instapay, merchandise discounts, free meals, and parking.
