Job OverviewThe County of King Washington is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as the Regional Health Administrator, overseeing the implementation of HIPAA/healthcare compliance and essential records functions. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication abilities.
About the RoleThis position is a key member of our Public Health team, working closely with regional administrators and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of healthcare services. Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with regional health authorities to develop and implement healthcare strategies
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant laws and standards
- Maintaining accurate records and reports related to healthcare services
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health, healthcare administration)
- At least 5 years of experience in healthcare administration or a related field
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other relevant laws and standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
