Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $145,800 - $214,350 per annum, based on factors such as location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additionally, this role is eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits, including:

Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer will design and develop software solutions that automate compliance and audit processes, providing deep technical challenges and opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence overall strategy and drive innovation in compliance automation.

This position involves architecting, designing, and implementing scalable, resilient systems that automate the audit and compliance lifecycle, engaging with vendor support teams to understand software and firmware roadmaps, stability, and vulnerabilities.

Collaboration with compliance and security teams, both internal and external, is essential to stay current with regulatory standards and proactively develop solutions to accommodate new requirements.

The successful candidate will provide technical guidance to the vulnerability management process, assist with scoring and ranking vulnerabilities, and understand end-to-end flows used by customers to access Docusign services, providing critical guidance on security and compliance conformance.

Additionally, this role requires participating in a rotating on-call schedule.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on security and compliance
  • Capability of obtaining and maintaining certification to access IL4 regulated systems
  • US Citizenship or Green Card holder
  • Demonstrable knowledge of compliance frameworks including PCI, SOC, ISO, FedRamp, and IL4
  • Proven track record of developing scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions
  • Understanding of underlying infrastructure of systems at scale, including load balancing, cloud environments, and certificate infrastructure
  • Understanding of risk management principles and ability to assess and mitigate compliance risks
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and practices, including data classification and handling
