Epic Travel Staffing is currently seeking a skilled travel nurse RN specializing in Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Job Overview:

As a travel nurse in the Telemetry PCU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will be essential in managing patients recovering from complex cardiac procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and telemetry readings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.

Requirements:

- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or progressive care setting.
- Proficient in telemetry interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.

Work Schedule:

- 12-hour night shifts, with a commitment to work weekends as required.
- Flexible scheduling options available.

Patient Population:

The unit primarily cares for patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, including open-heart procedures and other complex interventions. Nurses will be expected to manage various medical devices and provide critical care as needed.
