Position Overview:
ATR International is in search of a dedicated Production Assembler to support our esteemed client. The role involves executing repetitive assembly tasks on the production line to ensure that our products meet specified standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide updates to the Supervisor regarding the status of production.
  • Assemble products in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Adapt to various workstations as production demands change.
  • Availability to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
  • Engage in assembly tasks that vary with different models moving along the production line.
  • Serve as a resource for fellow production team members.

Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this position, employees are frequently required to use their hands for handling and manipulating production materials. Prolonged periods of standing and sitting are common, along with occasional reaching with hands and arms. Close vision is necessary for this role.

Safety and Compliance:
Employees must wear closed-toe shoes and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing hairnets, gloves, and lab coats in designated areas. Hearing protection is mandatory in specific assembly lines. The production environment is maintained at a consistent temperature and humidity to facilitate the assembly of test cartridges.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs.
  • Proficiency in using various hand tools.
  • Capability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Flexibility to accommodate irregular and extended work hours.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant assembly experience or training.
  • Alternatively, a combination of education and experience may be considered.
