AML Quality Control Specialist

Role Overview
As an AML Quality Control Analyst at Barclays, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our bank and our customers from financial crime risk. Your responsibilities will include reviewing transactional activity, correcting issues or errors, testing suspicious activity reports, and providing feedback to AML Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives, including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations in operational processes.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Develop reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of AML Quality Control, Compliance, Audit, Risk, and Fraud Investigations.
- Knowledge of Politically Exposed Person (PEP), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and OFAC regulations.
- ACAMS certification preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
