Role Summary

The HR Support Specialist will engage with Compass Group employees and management to deliver assistance and information in response to standard Employee Central inquiries. This role will address and resolve general Tier 1 level concerns, which may encompass employee data modifications on behalf of management, general browser configurations, system navigation, and issues requiring escalation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, which includes clear written and verbal communication, empathy towards frustrated individuals, patience to maintain focus during interactions, and technical expertise to resolve inquiries or issues.
  • Participate in all assigned Support Center activities, including ticket management, documentation, platform testing, and occasionally project management and internal communications.
  • Create high-quality documentation, including ticket notes and knowledge articles.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming tickets, outbound calls, and multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Investigate Employee Central technical issues and collaborate with Tier 2 support on technical updates within the application.
  • Compile employee data and submit information for batch uploads or corrections.
  • Collaborate with employees, unit managers, human resources, and other Centers of Excellence to resolve technical challenges.
  • Conduct gap analyses, provide impact assessments, and recommend practical, efficient solutions for users.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, including business requirements, procedural guides, operational and process flow documents, and test scripts.
  • Stay informed about product release schedules and enhancement activities.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet established service level agreements.
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy and protection regulations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in supporting and/or configuring systems or SaaS applications.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of HRIS and ERP systems, with a preference for Employee Central.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with strong Excel skills preferred.
  • Experience in application test planning and execution.
  • Effective organizational and planning abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively to complete tasks.
