Job Overview:


As a Control Systems Engineer at Pcmc Inc, you will be part of a team that will inspire you and prepare you for advancement.

You will join our Control System Integration Practice and work alongside experienced leaders, technical experts, and subject matter authorities to deliver exceptional solutions to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:


Design and develop control systems for clients in sectors such as food & beverage, consumer health, life sciences, or advanced technology.

Utilize your knowledge and experience with instrumentation devices, control systems, networking, and P&ID diagrams to provide engineering solutions for control systems and PLC/SCADA interface systems.

Lead instrumentation and controls design for both preliminary and detailed design phases of projects.
Conduct assessments of system and facility engineering.
Formulate engineering solutions aimed at optimizing equipment performance.
Design systems that monitor critical parameters such as pressure, temperature, humidity, and flow within a manufacturing context.
Troubleshoot and perform root cause failure analysis on assigned projects.
Document process requirements for instrumentation equipment utilized in systems design.
Exhibit current knowledge of best practice design methodologies.
Collaborate effectively with engineering design team members and client representatives.
Make a meaningful impact daily with your expertise and skills.

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls design for project programming phases.
Familiarity with Rockwell Automation hardware and software.
Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Process (MEP) systems.
Involvement in multi-discipline large capital projects.
Solid understanding of Design/Build (Engineering and Construction) processes.
Comprehensive knowledge of complex process systems architecture and design.
Working knowledge in industrial settings such as Dry/Wet Mechanical, AWN, Gas/Chem Distribution, HVAC, and Clean Room environmental control.
Proficient in both written and verbal technical communication.
Willingness and ability to travel as project requirements dictate.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
A degree focused on process control and instrumentation or equivalent experience will be considered.
Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is a plus.
