Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at PPC Flex. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Monitor production processes to ensure conformance to quality standards, identify and document non-conforming materials, and implement corrective actions to prevent future defects.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency, working closely with production teams and other departments to implement changes.
  • Training and Development: Train production associates on quality control procedures, test methods, and equipment operation, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including audits, inspections, and corrective actions, and provide regular reports to management on quality performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with production teams, quality leaders, and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration on quality-related issues.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., quality assurance, engineering, or a related field) and at least 1 year of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 30-40 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
Working Conditions

This is a 12-hour rotating shift position, working 49 hours in Week 1 and 36.75 hours in Week 2. The schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday in Week 1, and Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Week 2.
