Job Description

As a key member of the Maintenance Team at Syntricate Technologies, you will play a crucial role in delivering solutions to improve process reliability, product quality, and plant-wide performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consulting and Documentation: Consult technical diagrams and documentation, including schematics, manuals, standards, and codes, to ensure accurate and efficient maintenance and repair.
  • Backup and Revision Management: Maintain backup and revision documentation for control systems and instrumentation to ensure seamless operation and minimize downtime.
  • SCADA Device Management: Manage SCADA-type devices in an industrial environment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Instrumentation and Control Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain control, measurement, and indicating instrumentation, including pneumatic, analog, and digital systems.
  • PLC and PAC Programming: Configure and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs) to ensure seamless integration with control systems.
  • Project Management: Organize and manage projects for implementing changes and improvements, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Technical Reporting: Prepare technical reports to document issues, changes, and equipment modifications, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • On-Call Support: Provide on-call support to ensure prompt resolution of production-related issues and minimize downtime.
  • Electrical, Pneumatic, and Fluid Connection Installation and Termination: Install and terminate electrical, pneumatic, and fluid connections to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Instrument Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test instruments and systems to diagnose faults and ensure optimal performance.
  • Component Repair and Replacement: Remove, repair, adjust, and replace components to ensure seamless operation and minimize downtime.
  • Calibration and Maintenance: Calibrate components and systems to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
  • Engineering Support: Assist engineering teams in plant design, modification, and hazard analysis to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Computer-Based Control System Maintenance: Maintain various computer-based control systems to ensure seamless operation and minimize downtime.
  • Scheduled Maintenance Programs: Perform scheduled maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Technological Advancements: Stay up-to-date with advances in technology in the industry and trade to ensure continued expertise and innovation.

Some of the instruments used in this role include transmitters, analyzers, sensors, detectors, signal conditioners, recorders, controllers, and final control elements, which are used to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, motion, force, and chemical composition.

  • PLC Logic and Programming Experience: Proven experience in PLC logic and programming with Allen Bradley PLCs and other types of controllers to ensure seamless integration with control systems.
  • Logic and Flow Diagram Creation and Reading: Ability to create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation, and testing, and start-up to ensure accurate and efficient maintenance and repair.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices to ensure efficient and effective operation.
