Job Summary: The Custodial Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing, inspecting, and managing all cleaning and related services within the assigned contract. Responsibilities will be tailored to meet client expectations and guided by the Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in GMP, commercial cleaning, and financial planning is preferred.
  • Effectively distribute work tasks among team members.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities in designated areas, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
  • Authorize time off, overtime, and manage timecards.
  • Train custodial staff on the use of cleaning equipment.
  • Motivate, evaluate, and manage the performance of team members.

Supervisory Duties:

Engage with client management on service-related matters, addressing concerns and conducting inspections to ensure quality performance. Regularly meet with team members to assess service elements and implement corrective actions as necessary. Monitor inventory and ensure all equipment is maintained in optimal condition. Be prepared to perform hands-on cleaning tasks when required.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure are essential. Excellent customer service skills are a must. Candidates should have a minimum of five to ten years of supervisory experience in custodial services within large facilities. A solid understanding of both routine and specialized cleaning processes is required. Availability for weekdays, evenings, weekends, and on-call emergencies is expected. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are encouraged to apply. Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
