Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at AHMC Healthcare. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a professional front office, and ensure that employee and visitor needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain a professional front office, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service, answering phones, and taking accurate messages.
  3. Assist with projects, such as file maintenance, information packets, and processing verifications of employment.
  4. Process Federal and State withholding forms, maintain employee licensures/certifications, and complete EDD Employer Claim Forms.
  5. Enter HRIS employee changes, log garnishment documents, and distribute incoming mail.
  6. Assist with on-boarding process, promote a safe work environment, and attend required in-service training classes.
  7. Participate in performance improvement teams and processes, and maintain confidentiality regarding employee information.
Requirements
  1. High school graduate or equivalent required.
  2. Basic computer skills, good communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  3. One year Human Resources experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Proficient verbal and communication skills.
  2. Excellent organizational skills.
  3. Ability to multi-task.
  4. Basic computer skills, Outlook, Word, and some Excel.
  5. Proficient analytical thinking and creative thinking skills.

A high level of confidentiality is required for this position. The successful candidate will be able to meet the basic health requirements for employees of San Gabriel Valley Medical Center, including required tests and TB skin test or chest x-ray.
