Pediatric Nursing Operations Manager

About the Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nursing Operations Manager to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center.
Job Summary
">The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple nursing units, providing business support to nursing operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
">- Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and management to subordinate personnel, including clinical managers and administrative staff.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all nursing units comply with regulatory requirements, including JCAHO standards.
- Performance Improvement: Plan, implement, and evaluate processes related to performance improvement, staffing effectiveness, fiscal management, staff competence, and customer service outcomes.
- Policy Development: Identify the need for departmental policy development and/or revision and define policy in collaboration with higher-level management input and department goals/objectives.
- Process Development: Develop, monitor, and revise processes related to nursing operations, including budgeting and resource allocation.
Qualifications
">- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- Licensure: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan.
- Experience: Three years of progressive nursing experience, preferably in a leadership or management role.
Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
