About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Detroit Medical Center's Hutzel Women's Hospital. As a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to critically ill neonates and their families.

With a strong focus on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care. Your expertise in pediatric critical care will enable you to make sound clinical decisions, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate complex information to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill neonates, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans of care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information in electronic medical records
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan
  • At least 2 years of experience in pediatric critical care nursing
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

A competitive salary range is $84,000 - $114,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
