Senior Business Development Manager

At First Citizens Bank, we're dedicated to helping businesses prosper. As a Business Banker, you'll play a key role in developing and expanding relationships with business owners in your community to help them achieve their financial goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining an active prospect list and customer outreach plan
- Serving as the primary contact for borrowing needs up to $5MM
- Engaging bank partners to provide a full range of deposit and related business services
Responsibilities:
As a Business Banker, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Contribute to the growth of the bank through business and commercial loans, deposits, and fee income
- Exercise your creativity and entrepreneurial spirit to engage with business owners in the community
- Work in a supportive environment that encourages community and business development activities
- Be part of a collaborative team with various business services partners to support the full client relationship
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience in business lending, credit, or business development
- Or, a High school diploma or GED with at least 8 years of experience in business lending, credit, or business development

- Business development experience
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, having the following skills and qualifications would be beneficial:
- Established COI's and referral sources
- Financial analysis and credit underwriting skills
- Knowledge of business lending, deposit, and cash management solutions
- Ability to provide financial guidance and expertise
- Sales planning and forecasting experience
Salary and Benefits:
The base pay for this position is generally between $128,314 and $196,747. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
