Position Overview

Title: HR Business Partner

Shift: Day shift, 7am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, in-office

Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 (commensurate with experience)

HR Business Partner Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage employee records to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, upholding the highest standards of confidentiality.
  • Process new hire information and updates to employee records, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with relevant departments.
  • Support internal or external audits related to employee information, including training documentation and payroll records.
  • Generate analytical reports on various employee-related metrics, such as attendance and safety incidents, using appropriate software tools.
  • Oversee employee timekeeping to ensure accurate payroll processing and attendance management.
  • Provide backup support for payroll processing during peak periods or staff absences.
  • Assist in talent acquisition and onboarding processes.
  • Support employee training initiatives and communications.
  • Coordinate events and community outreach programs.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits.
  • Develop and manage social media content and collateral materials.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
  • Maintain regular on-site attendance to foster positive relationships with employees.
  • Travel as necessary for meetings and educational opportunities (approximately 10%).

Candidate Profile:

  • Preferred education includes an Associate degree or technical certification in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is advantageous.
  • Entry-level to mid-level understanding of core HR functions, including HRIS, benefits, payroll, and employee relations.
  • Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make informed decisions.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to address issues and anticipate potential outcomes.
  • Capability to balance priorities effectively while collaborating across functions.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and positive change.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for professional interactions with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Desire to acquire new skills and knowledge.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR administrative role within a mid-sized organization.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in project management and event coordination.
  • Experience working with a diverse workforce.
