Job Overview

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative systems that support human spaceflight. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to design, develop, and test essential components for extravehicular activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute engineering tasks related to the design and development of EVA spacesuit systems.
  • Collaborate with team leadership to refine project plans and scopes.
  • Identify and assess potential risks to project objectives and update mitigation strategies accordingly.
  • Design and conduct tests on PLSS hardware to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as needed to support project goals.
Qualifications:

This position is open to candidates with varying levels of experience. We welcome applications from individuals with:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, along with relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • In-depth understanding of vent loop gas flow dynamics, pressure management, and CO2 control in both closed and open loop systems.
  • Expertise in thermal control systems, including heat removal capabilities and materials compatibility.
