EVA Operations Specialist

Craig Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Space Operations Flight Controller to join our team at the Johnson Space Center in Texas. As a key member of our Integrated Mission Operations Contract (IMOC III), you will provide flight control and training support to the International Space Station (ISS) Operations, Exploration, Commercial Crew Program, Gateway, xEVA, and Human Landing System (HLS) within the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) Flight Operations Directorate (FOD).
Key Responsibilities- Support NASA Flight Operations Directorate at the Johnson Space Center in the Extravehicular Activity (EVA) discipline.
- Train on ISS EVA concepts and take on a leadership role in EVA exploration programs.
- Function as a lead for EVA future mission operations, providing development and integration support.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with diverse organizations.
- Provide technical and high-level presentations to various panels and forums.
- Participate in and contribute to group efforts to streamline and upgrade technical and administrative processes.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or other technically related area.
- Technical background and good understanding of engineering principles.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrated initiative, outstanding organizational skills, ability to participate in a team environment, and ability to function well under pressure.
- Strong multi-tasking/work prioritization skills.
- Ability to meet JSC requirements for certification as a Flight Controller.
- Night, weekend, and holiday work may be required for integrated simulations and flight support. Domestic and international travel may also be required.
- US Citizenship and ability to apply for and successfully receive and maintain security clearance per eligibility requirements.
- Pass a standard flight controller physical examination and pass security clearances.
- Must pass a NASA Background Check.
- Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen.
