Job Summary:

The Anesthesia Technician at WakeMed plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Operating Rooms. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of anesthesia machines, carts, and equipment. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will make a significant impact on our patients' care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the inventory of drugs, supplies, and equipment in the Operating Room and Labor and Delivery Operating Room.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a related role.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Thursday, 8:45pm - 7:15am.
  • Weekend requirements: As needed.
  • Call requirements: No.
