Position Summary:

  • The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for conducting high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures efficiently and accurately.
  • This role involves operating imaging equipment and processing diagnostic images.
  • The technologist prepares the imaging area, ensuring all necessary equipment, supplies, and medications are ready for patient use.
  • Practicing proper radiation safety protocols is essential for all examinations conducted.
  • Maintaining a secure and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff is a priority.
  • Contributing to the achievement of departmental and organizational objectives is expected.

Qualifications:

  • Recent experience as a Radiology Technician in an acute care hospital setting is required.
  • Registration or eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory.
  • Possession of a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from the appropriate regulatory body is essential.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
