Position Summary
This role entails overseeing operations across the state, with a focus on coordinating chain activities and initiatives for key retail partners. The selected candidate will serve as a vital link between Mexcor Texas and its supplier partners, aiming to develop effective marketing strategies that benefit both our retail clients and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture relationships with designated chain buyers and regional stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively regarding issues and opportunities with internal and external contacts.
  • Facilitate national and regional programs in collaboration with the supplier network.
  • Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiencies and support chain initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for national and regional programs within the supplier network.
  • Analyze market trends and brands that could positively influence sales across different regions.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in wholesale, with management experience preferred.
  • Possession of an Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License as mandated by state regulations.
  • Ability to analyze data and communicate insights effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using technology tools such as iPads, smartphones, and MS Office for presentations and proposals.
  • Demonstrated accountability for actions and results, with a commitment to high-quality service.
  • Adaptable to change and open to innovative ideas.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to engage in prolonged periods of sitting and typing on a computer or mobile device.
  • Physical activities may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and lifting up to 56 lbs.
  • Driving may be required throughout the day, with segments lasting up to 2 hours.
