Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes for new team members, manage performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Handle payroll submissions and maintain accurate payroll records, ensuring thorough verification and auditing of payroll deductions.
  • Negotiate and facilitate the renewal of annual benefits contracts, manage HRIS setups, including file feeds, open enrollments, and change requests for current and new employees.
  • Administer various leave of absence programs, including short-term and long-term disability, as well as compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with OSHA logs, workers' compensation, and other employment-related regulations.
  • Execute routine tasks necessary for the administration of HR programs, including compensation, benefits, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
  • Maintain an open-door policy to encourage employee communication and engagement, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Build strong partnerships with both employees and management to enhance workplace relationships.
  • Ensure that all HR procedures are consistently followed and maintained.
  • The ideal candidate should be proactive and visible within the organization.
  • Occasional travel to other facilities may be required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the human resources field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations is essential.
  • Proven recruiting skills with a focus on enhancing talent acquisition strategies.
  • Solid understanding of HR fundamentals and best practices in operational settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols, training and development, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Familiarity with benefits and compensation frameworks.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, particularly Paycom, is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels, from operational staff to leadership.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
