- Facilitate negotiations and manage annual benefits contract renewals, including the setup of plans within the existing HR information system, handling file transfers, open enrollment periods, and periodic updates for both new and current staff.
- Manage various leave of absence programs, including short-term and long-term disability, as well as compliance with relevant family leave laws.
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with regulations related to workplace safety, workers' compensation, and employment laws.
- Execute routine tasks necessary for the administration of human resource programs, which encompass compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and training initiatives.
- Maintain an open-door policy to encourage employee communication, engagement, and resolution of issues.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with both employees and management teams.
- Ensure adherence to established procedures and policies consistently across the organization.
- The ideal candidate should be proactive and visible within the workplace environment.
- Occasional travel to other company facilities may be required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of five years of experience in human resources is preferred.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Proven track record in recruitment and enhancing talent acquisition strategies.
- Solid foundation in human resources principles and best practices, particularly in manufacturing settings.
- Extensive knowledge of safety protocols, employee training, performance management, and organizational development.
- Familiarity with benefits and compensation structures.
- Experience with HRIS systems, particularly Paycom, is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with proficiency in negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels, from operational staff to executive leadership.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
